New Job.....

**UPDATE**

I actually have a new job now, not the one I mentioned below. I really didn't feel good about working for Air Supply. I almost had a nervous breakdown on Wednesday night thinking "What have I done????" So......I decided Thursday to see if I could find something else, and low and behold, I did. On Friday, I was hired by Court Reporters Clearinghouse here in Dallas. I AM SO HAPPY!!! ~ (I hope this means the curse has finally been lifted!!) CRC is a different kind of court reporting firm and I really like their concept. They've asked if I'd be interested in relocating and opening new offices for them. I think that would be great, so I hope that I'll be able to do that!! Maybe I'll be coming to a city near you ;-) Sandy has already asked me to put in a good word for Salt Lake!!

**Oops, I almost forgot (and I don't know how I could forget this), I don't start until June 9th!! So I'm off to Corpus tomorrow morning for a 2-week vacation. WooHoo!!!**

This is how I've been feeling lately........

but luckily now, I've got a new job and hopefully things will start getting better. The job is with Air Supply (no, not the band). Air Supply is a gas (yes, gas, stop laughing) company. They sell and distribute gas to doctors and dentists. I'll be basically running the office. The owner and his wife are super nice. It's still near downtown Dallas, but it's a little bit closer to home. I'm not super excited yet because I'm still getting over the shock of leaving my current job, but I'm sure that I'll be excited soon ~ more money will always do that for ya ;-)

Thanks for all your prayers and concern for me. It truly has been appreciated.

Our Day at the Kemah Boardwalk - Part 1

Thanks to Patty, Julie, Kellye & Tracy for spending my "birthday" with me at the Kemah Boardwalk. Kemah really is a fun place. Next time we're all in Houston, we'll have to go, but at night ~ it's too darn hot during the day.

The Ferris Wheel at the Kemah Boardwalk.
On our way home, the girls, Julie, Kellye & Tracy, sat in the backseat and looked at all our pictures. Every time they saw this picture they laughed and laughed. They kept saying "look at Cindy, she looks stoned", giggle, giggle, giggle. I've got to tell you, that's a real confidence booster!! Just what I needed with my 40th Birthday only a week away. Thanks girls :-)
Don't they look cute!
Oh no, what happened to Patty's legs???? (Okay, we were starting to act a little stupid at this point!)
Just another day on the ranch (inside a gift shop)
Smokin' hot! ~ Don't mess with us!

Our Day at the Kemah Boardwalk - Part 2

Silly girls, it's a train, not a rollercoaster!
All the lovely catfish. Enlarge this picture ~ it's kind of gross. We had lunch right next to them. Yummy!!
There is an actual rollercoaster on the boardwalk, but you wouldn't ever catch me on it!!
Patty and I and our silly faces.
All of us with our regular faces.....silly or not :-)

Kyle's 2nd Annual Golf Tournament

Here are a few pictures from the golf tournament. It was really hot, but I know a great time was had by all. The auction afterwards was definitely a highlight for me!! Jimmy donated a day of fishing on his boat in Port A ~ I believe it was the highest bid of the day!

Kenny & Karen's Pool

All I kept saying was "WOW"

Be sure and click on the pictures so you can see them in full detail. The waterfall is impressive!
