President Gordon B. Hinkley

With the news of the passing of our beloved prophet, Gordon B. Hinkley, I want to share these two videos honoring his life. What a wonderful prophet he was!! I have always loved President Hinkley and have admired his spunk and endurance. I am forever grateful to him for his service to the gospel and for his example to me. I hope you enjoy these videos. The second one is such a powerful one ~ his testimony! I can't even imagine what Heaven must be like today!!

New "Texas" Stadium

Just to keep you updated, here is a picture of what the new Cowboy's stadium is supposed to look like and a picture of where they are now in the construction process. I'm so excited to have the Cowboy's moving to Arlington. Of course, it's not like I'll ever get to attend ~ too rich for my blood.

Happy New Year's To Me!!!

As many of you may know by now, I spent New Year's Eve in the hospital with a kidney stone. Luckily I passed it a couple of days later and am now starting to feel much better. I wanted to share with you some of the trauma I went through. So to share in my agony, here are some disgusting pictures of extremely painful looking/scary kidney stones along with a dramatization below that made me laugh and laugh!!! More Utah Snow

What a view to wake up to every morning!! Looking out Sandy's basement window. There are stairs there, you just can't see them! But....you can see where Kellye tried going down them. John shoveling snow. It took him at least an hour each morning. Better him than me!! My snow angel

Christmas in Utah

This year I spent Christmas in Utah with the Healys. I had a wonderful time, even though it was a short time. Mom & Dad and Kenny, Karen & Kellye joined us on Sunday and are still currently there. I'm sure they're out tubing right now, lucky dogs!!

I went to the zoo with Holly, Joey, the girls and Tara. We really had a great time. I had been waiting a long time to go ~ not sure why I really love the zoo. The Fort Worth Zoo, especially. Isn't Cali just the most precious baby ever!!!!!!!

Okay ~ Tonight's the Night!! I'm even more excited for tonight than I was for the Danicing With The Stars finale, which by the way, I did pick the winner. I hope everyone will be able to watch the game tonight, but unfortunately, it's on the NFL Network. My prediction is: 38-24 Cowboys. (In this picture, I bet Favre is thinking: Oh man, if I'd only been a Cowboy!!!)

Stars Game

Right before Halloween, (I know it's taken me too long to put this up,) but.....Amber & Bobby invited me to a Stars game. They are the hockey team here in Dallas just in case you don't know. It was really awesome ~ and cold!! Here's a picture of a fight ~ woohoo! Best part of the night!!

"Running & Dancing" Star On My Floor

Yesterday our floor had the pleasure of a superstar, yes, Emmitt Smith!!! Two people in my office saw him....one girl twice -- Dang Crapit, as Holly would say!! Of course, I did not see him.....I'm very sad. But it was exciting to know that he was right here amongst us. He was seeing an entertainment attorney who's office is on our floor, so maybe, just maybe, he'll visit another day!!!!

Austin Trip

Last weekend a group of us went down to Austin for a boat ride on some river - I still don't know what river it was, but it sure was beautiful! If I had to live in Austin, which I'm keeping my fingers crossed will never happen, I would live there. Here's a picture of the group that went down. Corpus/Beach Trip

Thanks to everyone for all your support during my Corpus/Beach Trip!! It was a great success and everyone is still raving about it. Thanks for supporting me in this by supplying your homes, your time, your food and your help (especially Josh & Jill!!) I have such a wonderful family -- and now people up here know that, too. I love you all!!!

DANCING WITH THE STARS!!!!!

It's almost that time. Dancing With the Stars is right around the corner. I'm so excited. This season, Marie Osmond will be one of the contestants. Hopefully she won't embarrass us too bad.


Now, I'm sure that Patty is pretty heart broken that Donny isn't appearing. You just wipe those tears, Patty -- I'm sure Donny will make an appearance every once in a while in the audience......lol

I sure know I'm disappointed it's Marie instead of Donny. Check out this picture below. He's like, what, a million years old now, but yet still such a freakin' HOTTIE!!!!


And check out that doll Marie has in her lap. What a freaky little version of Donny!!!! Or at least that's what I'm thinking she meaning it to be.....I don't know :-)
