And the crap keeps flowing......

If you haven't heard, yesterday I found out that my office is closing and my last day will be May 31st. I really wasn't too upset, I could sense that it was coming ~ but I did think it would, at least, be a couple of years out.

Anywoo, by the time I got home yesterday, I already had an interview lined up with another company. I interview next Tuesday. It's closer to my home, just right under DFW, they offer benefits, which I pay for now by myself, and I'm hoping it will be more money ~ please keep your fingers crossed, legs crossed, eyes crossed, even your ears crossed, if you can ....... you really don't need to do all that, your prayers are all I need!!

My New Floors

When I get my bathrooms all put together I'll take pictures of them, but for now all you get to see is the tile. Ricky did a really awesome job and I'm so grateful that he came and helped me (my parents, too, of course!) The blue-ish tile is in my "blue bathroom," obviously, .... and the other tile is in my master. I have green paint, the exact paint Patty has in her bedroom, to put on the walls in my master. I'm really excited to finally get it finished, but it's just going to have to wait a little while longer, right now I'm tired so I'm taking a break!!

Crapper....

For the past few years, I feel like my life has been in the crapper!!!! As most of you know, the hits just keep coming for me, and coming, and coming, and coming. My latest episode was last week when my sewage overflowed into both bathtubs (the blue bathroom stunk horrendously!!!) and the shower in my bedroom. Needless to say, my shower door was opened just enough to let all that glorious poopy water spill all over my bathroom floor ~ about an inch in the entire area. Thanks to Tara, Nicole and Sister Starr for coming over and helping me pick up all the "crap", literally. I felt bad that I couldn't help too much, but since I had just recently ripped a hole in my head, I figured it was best to let them do all the heavy and strenuous stuff.

As soon as Ricky, Mom & Dad get here, we'll be replacing lots of stuff ~ I hope!! At least I'm getting a new tile floor in the bathroom, that's good news, and a new toilet while we're at it. Not sure yet what we're going to do with that big poop stain on the carpet in my bedroom floor. Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated. The water leaked onto my carpet about three to four feet right outside the bathroom door. It's really attractive, as I'm sure you can imagine....or probably don't want to imagine.

BTW, The toilet shown here costs $2,329.20 from Home Depot. Who pays that?????? And how did they come up with the 20 cents??????

I'm In a Fog

Check out these really cool Dallas Fog pictures!! The building to the right with the tall oil-derrick thingys on top, that's my building. I'm actually not in the fog, though, since about only four floors from the top.
I love this picture. I'm not sure which building it is, but you can just barely see the top of it. I think it looks awesome!! .... and just a bit freaky. (Click on the picture to see it bigger!)

A Night With Barry.....

What a night!!!! I absolutely loved Barry. I knew every song and almost every word. I've attached a little video of everyone singing "I Write the Songs" and waving their green-glow sticks. If you listen real carefully you can hear me singing with him (Sorry, I never could get the video to load, so it's not on here). It truly was a great night and I thank Amber for sharing it with me!!! The picture above is at the end of the show with streamers and confetti. Apparently this was his Vegas show ~ looked great to me!! The people around us were hiliarious. There were three girls with their three guys in front of us. At first you could tell that the guys were dragged into this. By the end of the night, one guy was swaying a bit, tapping his feet, the next guy was asleep (he was pretty much the whole time) and then the last guy appeared maybe a bit tipsy. He was getting into it more than me. Here's a picture of him. We were cracking up!!!!

JFK has NOT left the Building....or at least the Bathroom

We had our bathroom at work renovated quite a while back. One day, as I was sitting on my "throne", contemplating when and if I should go back to work, I noticed something really odd about our new bathroom stall doors ~ JFK!
There appears to be an profile of him in our doors. Isn't that strange, especially since I work on the street where he was killed. Creep-ola' Can you see it???

Amber and I are going to Barry Manilow tonight. I hope it's wonderful!!!!! Amber is such a trooper. She's knows nothing about Barry Manilow, but is willing to go. She's been listening to his music trying to learn some of it beforehand ~ what a friend!!! Hopefully I'll have pictures to post tomorrow......

I know it's a day late, but Happy Valentine's Day!! I got this puppy in an email, isn't he just adorable? Even though I currently do not have my own "Valentine" I want all of you to know how grateful I am to have you in my life. I couldn't ask for better family members and friends!!! I Love You All!!

Grandma's 2008 Christmas Present......

Yes, I'm thinking about Christmas already, but the gift I have in mind will take some time. I need all of you to give me your email address/phone number, if I don't already have it. President Gordon B. Hinkley

With the news of the passing of our beloved prophet, Gordon B. Hinkley, I want to share these two videos honoring his life. What a wonderful prophet he was!! I have always loved President Hinkley and have admired his spunk and endurance. I am forever grateful to him for his service to the gospel and for his example to me. I hope you enjoy these videos. The second one is such a powerful one ~ his testimony! I can't even imagine what Heaven must be like today!!

New "Texas" Stadium

Just to keep you updated, here is a picture of what the new Cowboy's stadium is supposed to look like and a picture of where they are now in the construction process. I'm so excited to have the Cowboy's moving to Arlington. Of course, it's not like I'll ever get to attend ~ too rich for my blood.

As many of you may know by now, I spent New Year's Eve in the hospital with a kidney stone. Luckily I passed it a couple of days later and am now starting to feel much better. I wanted to share with you some of the trauma I went through. Christmas in Utah

This year I spent Christmas in Utah with the Healys. I had a wonderful time, even though it was a short time. Mom & Dad and Kenny, Karen & Kellye joined us on Sunday and are still currently there. I'm sure they're out tubing right now, lucky dogs!!

I went to the zoo with Holly, Joey, the girls and Tara. We really had a great time. I had been waiting a long time to go ~ not sure why I really love the zoo. The Fort Worth Zoo, especially. Isn't Cali just the most precious baby ever!!!!!!!

Okay ~ Tonight's the Night!! I'm even more excited for tonight than I was for the Danicing With The Stars finale, which by the way, I did pick the winner. I hope everyone will be able to watch the game tonight, but unfortunately, it's on the NFL Network. My prediction is: 38-24 Cowboys. Stars Game

Right before Halloween, (I know it's taken me too long to put this up,) but.....Amber & Bobby invited me to a Stars game. They are the hockey team here in Dallas just in case you don't know. It was really awesome ~ and cold!! Here's a picture of a fight ~ woohoo! Best part of the night!!

"Running & Dancing" Star On My Floor

Yesterday our floor had the pleasure of a superstar, yes, Emmitt Smith!!! Two people in my office saw him....one girl twice -- Dang Crapit, as Holly would say!! Of course, I did not see him.....I'm very sad. But it was exciting to know that he was right here amongst us. He was seeing an entertainment attorney who's office is on our floor, so maybe, just maybe, he'll visit another day!!!!
